NYX Esperia Palace Hotel Athens by Leonardo Hotels

I recently stayed at the NYX Esperia Palace Hotel in Athens during a combined work and leisure trip, and my experience was truly beyond all expectations. The hotel’s location is exceptional - just a short walk from the vibrant Plaka neighborhood and the Acropolis, with many outstanding restaurants and cafés nearby. This made it perfect both for exploring the city and for enjoying authentic local dining experiences. The hotel’s facilities were equally impressive. I especially enjoyed the wellness area, which included relaxing saunas, a jacuzzi, and a rooftop pool with a wonderful view. These amenities offered a perfect balance between productivity and relaxation throughout my stay. The staff were consistently warm, professional, and helpful. They provided excellent recommendations for places to eat and visit, which enriched my time in Athens and made the experience even more memorable. Overall, my stay at NYX Esperia Palace Hotel was outstanding in every aspect—location, comfort, amenities, and service. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens for business, leisure, or a blend of both.

Excellent location in the heart of Athens, super clean room very high-tech with nice balcony, breakfast was delicious with a view of the acropolis, staff welcoming and friendly we felt home.sadly the weather deprived us from using the pool.

Great rooftop facilities and view of Athens/sunset. Rooms were great and super comfy beds/pillows. Clean tidy, great ammenities, staff super helpful and friendly. Easy check in.

Overall Stay: We had an amazing stay at this hotel, it’s absolutely beautiful and just as luxurious as it looks in the photos. The style is very modern, with lots of smart features and a comfortable, stylish atmosphere. Facilities: The rooms have plenty of modern touches, including buttons on the wall to adjust lighting and open or close the curtains, plus a TV with Netflix and YouTube. Our room had a lovely walk-in shower and a touch-button panel outside to request housekeeping, which was really convenient. The gym is small but well-equipped and free to use. The spa was fantastic — I booked a massage from a wide range of options, and the therapist tailored the treatment exactly to my preferences in terms of pressure and style. Our room also had a fridge, which was a lifesaver in the heat for keeping water cold to take out during the day. Breakfast: Breakfast was 10/10. The buffet offered plenty of Greek options like cheese pies and orange pie, alongside other choices. Every morning we enjoyed breakfast with a beautiful view of the Acropolis from both inside and outside the restaurant. Staff: The staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and easy to communicate with. They were always happy to help and made our stay even more enjoyable. Location: The location was perfect, around a 15–25 minute walk to all the main attractions like the Acropolis, Monastiraki, and the Plaka district. There were also plenty of restaurants and dessert places nearby, and we were able to walk everywhere.
